My Journey to being FIT and HEALTHY

One of the many things I really enjoy doing with my husband is working out. He is such a gym addict, it’s cute LOL! Me on the other hand.. now that’s another story haha!! Do not get me wrong, I like working out and believe that everyone should try to be FIT and HEALTHY. But when it comes down to the actual equipment and stuff, y’all I be really confused 😨😨. I have to ask him how to use this and how to use that, but he is so patient with me, I love it. I wonder if that’s the reason people choose to not workout, because they’re unsure of how certain things work, hmm. I don’t know.

I mentioned earlier about people being FIT and HEALTHY, so many people think that if they workout, BOOM that’s it, they are set for life. THAT IS NOT THE CASE AT ALL!! Being FIT and HEALTHY is a lifestyle, I’m slowing learning this. It takes more than just exercising here and there, you have to have a proper diet to accompany your workout methods. Watching what you eat and how much you consume of those things can help you be and stay FIT and HEALTHY.

We have already established that I am no FITNESS EXPERT or PERSONAL TRAINER, by no means am I that, but I thought I would share what I have learned with you, because I’m here to help you be the best you that you can possibly be, in every area, so why not cover fitness too. πŸ™‚


  1. Drink lots and lots of water, staying hydrated is very important!
  2. Start with the level of exercise that fits you, you don’t want to over do anything and have you body like, ‘whoa, wait a minute, somebody tell me what’s happening.’ Go at your own pace and build yourself up!
  3. Eat healthy. I know eating healthy can be expensive, but the way I look at it is like this, I would rather spend a lot of money on putting the best foods in my body than to have to pay a doctor to fix something I could have avoided if I just cared more about my diet. That’s just me, though.
  4. D I S C I P L I N E. Stay focused and committed to your goals.
