Hey y’all great people of JusTalk!! Quick post for you today, not gonna keep you too long, cause I know y’all are pretty productive and out there crushin’ goals, right? Right!
So, as you may know, I’m on a journey to be fit and healthy (if you didn’t know click the ‘journey’ link and join us) and just the other day my wonderful husband said something to me that just made me feel all kinds of special on the inside. We were in the store about to go get some food and we were talking and I was reminding him that I’m on a “diet” and he looks at me and says “you don’t need to go on a diet, just be more conscience of the stuff you eat and how much of it you eat” 😲 😍
Y’all we have discussed this, I told you that this is one thing that I’m learning on this journey, so how on earth did it slip my mind so quickly?
I don’t even like and/or believe in diets anymore because most of them don’t work. They work for a short period of time and then next thing you know it’s over far sooner than expected. So, seriously, how dare I put myself through that torture? LOL You just need to be mindful of what and how much you consume. I absolutely love this guy and so freakin’ happy that I have someone on my team that is here to support me and keep me on track. He really is amazing! With that being said, I’m adding a #5 to the 4 Things I’ve Learned On My Journey To Being FIT and HEALTHY and that is, to make sure you have a good support system even if it’s just an app on your phone, there are plenty out there to help you stay focused and motivated. I hope this helped someone as much as it helped me 🙂

I recently started drinking this Green Smoothie every morning for breakfast and it is really freakin’ delicious and I’m sure it’s pretty healthy for you.
It’s simply 5 ingredients (at least for me, of course you can modify it to your own liking) I use a cup of water for my base, a handful or two of spinach, 1 medium banana (to sweeten), a couple shakes of bee pollen (for energy), and 1/2 of a lemon’s juice (to detox)
Blend that goodness up and voila! Like I said it’s really good, I thought it was gonna be really bitter tasting, but I guess it’s all in how much lemon juice you add. Let me know if you are gonna try this or if you have your own smoothie recipes you would like to share I’m down to try them out!! 🙂
