It’s JusTalk

DIY Projects, Recipes, Homemade Spa Treatments, etc. all good things if done CORRECTLY!!

Yesterday I decided I wanted to treat myself to a facial, without going out to pay for one because they can’t be that hard to do yourself and I would rather use natural ingredients that I have in my kitchen (all thoughts that I actually had yesterday, welcome to my mind). I found this simple homemade face mask thingy-ma-gig on the internet (why didn’t I hop on over to good ol’ trusty Pinterest? I don’t know) it was a complete failure for me, maybe it worked for someone else. LOL haha it was 2 tbsp. of baking soda and 1 tbsp. honey, so simple, mix it together to make a paste and apply to your face for 10-15 minutes. I did all of that, it went on like it was supposed to, I let it sit on my face for 15 minutes and all it did was make my face smell like a honey graham cracker, I want some of those by the way so maybe that was just my imagination 😐. Anyway, it didn’t do what I thought it was gonna do for me, but like I said maybe it worked for someone else. I’m not knocking it. Trial and error, you better believe I’m gonna try another face mask sometime soon LOL!

When I’m at home for the majority of the day and Pinterest is always there, I tend to find stuff to get into and then I have to explain to my husband why I need popsicle sticks, glue, crayons, markers, etc. LOL seriously welcome to my life, I love it so much!!

My next project includes these awful chairs I found and I want to reupholster them to use in our guest room, but Pinterest isn’t making it easy for me because I only have 3 chairs and like 17 different pins of what I could possibly do with them. SMH!

I highly recommend Pinterest to everybody though, it’s great and will keep you busy if you actually do the things you pin. It can also be addictive, so watch out, make sure you create a balance. So, happy pinning people, have a great productive day!!
